Female grizzly. She was about twenty metres from me. While she looks fierce she was actually quite passive and did not feel threatened. We unexpectedly noticed her slowly walk toward us coming in from behind as I was taking some landscape photos. As nervous as I was, I managed to quickly change my lens and got a picture of her great stare, then slowly grabbed my tripod and walked away down a trail. However, if she was not a little nervous, I certainly was! That was a crazy unforgettable experience.
